Each quest requires you three steps.

1. Give the initial item to the NPC.
2. Kill 300 of the monster specified.
3. Give the second item to the NPC.

After which, you will finish the quest and unlock items / equipments.

Equipment Enchantment

Equipment Enchantment, or Enchanting, is a way of adding new "random" stat attributes to your equipment. 

Enchanting requires you to visit the Cat Friend NPC in Geffen.

There are 3 types of Enchanting

• Basic Enchantment - adds 1 random attribute
• Intermediate Enchantment - adds 2 random attributes
• Advanced Enchantment - adds 3 random attributes. There's also a chance of getting a 4th one.

To unlock these Enchanting Options, follow the guide below.

Basic Enchantment

1. Talk to Cat Friend at Level 40.

2. Done. 

Intermediate Enchantment

1. Talk to Cat Friend at Level ?? (I'm not sure on the level requirement. I took this while Level 70)

2. Find Reyen in Geffen

3. Find Hayward in Morroc Desert

4. Go Back to Cat Friend

5. Bring Cat Friend 30 Scell

6. Bring Cat Friend 30 Immortal Heart

7. Bring Cat Friend 5 Mora Coin

8. Done

Advanced Enchantment

1. Talk to Cat Friend at Level 70.

2. Bring Cat Friend 3 Light Granule.

3. Bring Cat Friend 3 Star Crumb

4. Bring Cat Friend 3 Parts

5. Defeat Phantom Khalitzburg in Payon South

6. Bring Cat Friend 10 Mora Coin

7. Done

Cost of Enchantment:

Basic Enchantment: 5000z

Intermediate Enchantment: 2 Mora Coin + 5000z

Advanced Enchantment: 4 Mora Coin + 20000z

Personal Recommendation:

• Save your money and Mora Coins. Enchant your equipment when you have unlocked Advanced Enchantment. Don't use them on the Intermediate Enchantment.
• Unless your desparate, I'd skip Basic Enchantment as well. Use those zenny to Refine or Upgrade your equipment instead. 
• Collect Friendship Points. You can buy Mora Coins from Cat Friend using Friendship Points.
