To enable the 3rd Job Breakthrough, you need to complete the Mysterious Girl quest. This will show up once you reach Job Level 40 with your 3rd job character.
To start this quest, go to Hvergelmir and find the Mysterious Girl.
This is a straightforward quest with no materials needed. Just continue through and you'll be fine.
She will ask you a series of question though. Here are the answers to help you speed along.
- ...where is the twisted souls gathered in the Forest of Mist? The Graveyard
- ...do they have a leader? Yes
- ...any information about their weakness from the Dead souls? The Power of the Spirit
Once you completed the quest, you will unlock the 3rd Job Breakthrough.
You will also receive the Obsidian Crystal.
OBSIDIAN CRYSTAL
You will need this item to collect Death's Breath. An item needed to increase your Purification Level. Each purification level will give you an additional Job Level. Max Purification Level is 20. Which means, your new Max Job Level is 60.
ACQUIRING DEATH'S BREATH
There are plenty of ways to acquire Death's Breath.
- World Boss
- Participate in defeating the World Boss (Angeling, Detarderous, Randgris)
- Spawns every 2 hours
- Spawns on Random channel in Misty Forest, Hamelin, or Skellington maps.
- If you changed channel, you will 'miss' because of the channel hopping penalty. But you will still receive the reward.
- You need to defeat it in 30 mins before it disappears.
- You will get 500 Death's Breath if you participate and the boss is defeated.
- Revenant Boss
- You will need to MVP this boss
- Spawns every 2 hours.
- Check your MVP page for details
- You will get 5000 Death's Breath
- Endless Tower 101
- After clearing ET Floor 100. Talk to the Dark Bard NPC. He will summon 2 Revenant Boss.
- You will get 5000 Death's Breath per Boss (10000 total)
- Valhalla Run (Guild)
- VR100 (costs 40 silver medals).
- Talk to the Dark Bard. He will summon 1 Revenant Boss,,
- You will get 5000 Death's Breath
- Misty Forest Daily Quest - (blue exclamation point in the map). Each quest will give you 500 Death's Breath
- Adventure Meatball
- Once per day (per account), you can purchase Ghost Breath Task Raid Scroll for 20 Meatball
- This will automatically clear the 3 Misty Forest Daily Quest for your you.
- You will get 500 Death's Breath per quest. (1500 total)
- Event Items NPC (Prontera)
- You can purchase Ghost Breath Chest for 150000z
- Max purchase is 5x per week. (per character)
- You will get 3000 Death's Breath per chest. (15000 total)
Personally, I only do the Misty Forest Quest, Adventure Meatball, and Event Items NPC.
