Socketing of Equipment

If you wish to put a socket in your equipment to equip that blue card that you have gotten by grinding. You've come to the right place.

1. Zennies
2. Time and Patience invested for Research and Grinding More Zennies

How to add a Socket in your Equipment

1. Find one of the three Socketing Equip NPCs below. 

Barend Ugarte in Geffen

For Socketing: Weapon, Offhand, and Armor

Bloto Ugarte in Payon

For Socketing: Accessory

Aberk Ugarte in Morroc

For Socketing: Boots and Cape (Garment)

2. You will need 10 pieces of the same equipment that you are going to socket.

The equipment material must have no refinement in it. The item that you want to add socket to can have refinement to it, but the 10 equipment materials must have none. 

You can do your research and hunt the necessary materials to craft the equipment.

...or get them from the Exchange. 

This is why I mentioned that you need a lot of zennies if you don't have the Time and Patience.

3. Equip the item that you wish to add socket to. 

4. Talk to the NPC and pay the necessary fee (aside from the 10 pieces of the same equipment)

I haven't tried adding socket to all but here's the cost of those that I have tried.

• Weapon = 10,000z
• Armor = 50,000z
• Boots = 50,000z
• Accessory = 100,000z

5. Done. You will received your socketed item afterwards. Its 100% success rate.

Important Matters to Know

• Equipment Upgrade will be retained. 
• Equipment Enchantment will be retained.
• Equipment Enhancement will be retained.
• Equipment Refinement will be retained.
• Upgrading your equipment to its final form WILL remove the socket.
• If I upgrade that Mage Coat III to a Robe of Casting, I will lose the socket.
• Make sure you are going to add socket to the final form of the equipment (if you wish to achieve its final form)
• I added socket to my Mage Coat since I consider it as its final form. (I wont be able to equip it if I upgrade it to Robe of Casting)
