Event : Ragnarok M x EVANGELION : Tokyo-3

If you've been paying attention to the World Chat, you'd see that several players are always looking for party for Tokyo-3 Rift Instance (or Tokyo-3)

This is an ongoing event that will run from January 31 2019 to February 21 2019.

To participate in this rift, you will need a party of 5. 

Its recommended that all 5 are different players and no one is controlling more than 1 character. (if you have multiple accounts)

To access the rift, head to this NPC that looks like Rei Ayanami

You will need to clear the rift within 300 seconds (5minutes). The faster you clear the rift, the better the rewards.

• Clear within 180 seconds - NERV Commander - 5 NERV Deluxe Battle Chest
• Clear within 210 seconds - NERV Deputy Commander - 2 NERV Delux Battle Chest
• Clear within 240 seconds - NERV Operation Director - 2 NERV Superior Battle Chest
• Clear within 300 seconds - NERV Operation Assistant - 1 NERV Superior Battle Chest.
• First Clear - 5 NERV Commendation Chest

Battle Chest will provide you NERV Emblems that you can use to purchase event related items.

You will also get this title after your first completion under 180 seconds.

Inside Tokyo-3 Rift Instance

You will be piloting one of the two EVA units. Unit-01 and Unit-02. Both units have 4 skills.

Unit-01. Color code PURPLE (not blue. GDI)

Important Facts about their skills

• First Skill - Auto Attack - DO NOT USE THIS. PLEASE. DONT. STOP. YAMETE
• Second Skill - Always SPAM this when you are the Attacker
• Third Skill - 10 Second Damage Buff to the opposite color. If you are PURPLE, you buff will increase damage output of RED. If you are RED, your buff will increase damage output of PURPLE. Cooldown is 20 seconds. 
• Fourth Skill - Switch Unit. If you are PURPLE, you will be come RED. (and vice versa)

Inside the rift, you will face 3 Angels, here are some facts.

• First Angel - Only RED will be able to deal damage. 
• Recommended lineup:
• 3 RED Attackers
• 2 PURPLE Buffers
• Second Angel - Only PURPLE will be able to deal damage.
• Recommended lineup:
• 3 PURPLE Attackers
• 2 RED Buffers
• One of the RED will have to switch to PURPLE
• Third Angel - Half and Half
• If the Angel is above 50% HP, Only RED will be able to deal damage.
• Recommended lineup is the same with the First Angel.
• If the Angel hits 50% HP (or below), Only PURPLE will be able to deal damage.
• Recommended lineup is the same with the Second Angel
• One of the RED will have to switch to PURPLE.

IMPORTANT TIPS

• ALWAYS HAVE BUFFS ACTIVE. Buff Duration is 10 seconds, its cooldown is 20 seconds. That's why its always recommended to have 2 buffers every time. TAKE TURNS in casting buffs. Casting it at the same time will not stack and give you moments where there's no buff active. The damage outfit without buff is very different with buff.
• Do Not Auto Follow. Do Not Auto Attack. 
• Depending on your agreement before entering, make sure you go for the first Angel immediately. Time will start once you enter the rift. 
• Spam Second Skill if you are the attacker. Do not use First Skill
• You can't be a dedicated buffer or attacker. You will have to do both. 
• If you're a buffer and the Angel is attacking you, do not run away. You will not die in this rift. 
• Nominate someone to be the switcher. This will help you maintain the 3 attacker 2 buffer ratio. 
• DON'T BE AFK. Always pay attention. Using multiple accounts is not recommended. Its a 5 minute rift. FOCUS.
• If you can, use Discord to chat with your party mates.
• Lastly, create 2 alternate characters in your account. They can also participate in this rift and get the same rewards as your main one. 

That's it! Its really not that hard. After 2-3 attempts, I was able to do the rift successfully under 180 seconds. (provided my party knows how to do it as well)
